The Pool Cue Tip

This video explains to the beginning pool player what to look for in a cue tip. All cue tips are not created equal and, to play your best pool, you want a tip that is in good shape with a proper ferrule to support it.

The cue tip should be shaped to a crown shape as shown and roughened up so it holds the chalk better. Chalk should be used before every shot for the best cue tip performance.
