A Cue Tip Video

In this video, an explanation is given about the hardness of different cue tips. A soft tip will give more feel for the shot, while a hard tip will last longer and is better for breaking.

The actor mentions that the cue tip should be shaped to a crown that is the diameter of a dime. This will enable the tip to hit the round cue ball at the optimum angle, no matter what type of shot is attempted.
