The Importance of Keeping a Level Cue Stick

In this video, the importance of keeping a level cue stick when shooting is explained. Missed shots and other problems can be avoided if the cue is kept parallel to the table and the shot is made correctly.

If the shooter wants to hit the cue ball either above or below center to put follow or draw on the cue ball, the bridge hand is changed. Flattening the bridge hand will cause the tip of the cue stick to lower for a draw shot, while squeezing the bridge hand together will cause the cue to raise up for a follow shot.
